Privacy Policy — Veralia Globe

1. What We Collect

Account information: name, username, email address, password (encrypted)
Profile information: bio, location, website (optional)
Content: posts, comments, messages you create
Usage data: login times, IP address, browser type

1a. Server logs and security retention

We automatically log technical information (IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp) for every page visit. These logs are retained for security and abuse prevention purposes for up to 14 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
Visits to our Imprint page (/info/impressum.php) are recorded in a separate security log retained for 14 days. This is done to detect and respond to potential misuse of the legal contact information that German law (§5 TMG) requires us to publish.

To provide and improve the Veralia Globe service
To send you notifications about activity on your account
To enforce our Community Guidelines
To send important service announcements

3. What We Do NOT Do

We do NOT sell your data to third parties
We do NOT use your data for advertising
We do NOT share your private messages
We do NOT track you outside of Veralia Globe

4. Data Security

Your password is stored encrypted with bcrypt. We use HTTPS for all connections. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

You can edit or delete your profile at any time
You can delete your account in Settings
You can request a copy of your data by contacting us
You can request that your Real-ID image be reviewed and deleted (we delete it automatically once reviewed)

6. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
